Hands are an important symbol to Carl. Like faces, he enjoys eating them as well as turning them into works of art. This is first noticed in "Llamas with Hats 1" after Carl admits to eating the hands of a dead human to satisfy his rumblies. He then nails bunch of hands to a wall to create what he considers to be a great piece of art in the "Llamas with Hats: Cruise Catastrophe iOS and Android Game" promotional video and they seem to possess regenerative properties when consumed in the Llamas with Hats: Cruise Catastrophe game. Carl makes a crack in space/time through which to collect millions of baby hands in "Llamas with Hats 5." He also crafts a hand chair using the faces of the city council members in "Llamas with Hats 7" which he sees as modern art.
